Description
To get high efficiency Si Solar cells, reduction of surface recombination losses and good surface passivation and/or Bach Surface Field (BSF) formation are needed. LFC is a technique developed to form the point or line contact pattern of solar cells with dielectric rear passivation.

Application
The technique utilizes laser ablation of silicon oxide or silicon nitride deposited on top of a film of aluminum metal,
to achieve a low series resistance ohmic contact. Due to the back of the battery with the structure of the point
contact, the metal composite greatly reduced, a substantial increase in performance on the back of the battery
